Not a list to worry about. Just the things you may have stopped mentioning because nobody seemed to have an answer.
These are signals, not sentences.
Your body is not failing you. It is telling you that something changed, and no one has stopped long enough to listen. That listening is where we start.
For years I knew something was wrong with my body, and for years I was told I was fine.
Test after test came back normal. Appointment after appointment ended in a shrug. I was exhausted and inflamed, and I was slowly starting to believe this was simply who I was now.
So I went and got the education myself. I became a Certified Holistic Nutrition Practitioner and a Certified Personal Trainer — not to build a business, but to find my own answers. It took time. It worked. I got my energy back, and I got myself back.
That was fifteen years ago. I have been practicing and training ever since, and in that time I have sat with hundreds of people who were told exactly what I was told: that everything looked fine.
Then my grandfather was diagnosed with Parkinson's, and I watched how quickly the world stops asking older adults what they want their life to look like. That has never sat right with me since.
Faith is what brought all of it into focus. This body is a gift I have been asked to steward — and so is yours. Helping adults over fifty feel strong, clear, and independent again is not my job. It is my calling.

Six areas, cared for together. Not a checklist to work through in order — a way of looking after the whole person, because that is how a body actually works.
Whole foods that calm inflammation.
Meals that hold your energy steady instead of spiking it and dropping it out from under you.
Strength and mobility for real life.
Getting off the floor, up the stairs, and out of the car without having to think about it first.
Real sleep and real rest.
Waking up genuinely rested, and meeting a hard day with a little more room to breathe.
Lightening the daily load on your body.
Less sugar, less stress, and less of what has quietly been working against you.
Supporting digestion and drainage.
Better digestion, less bloating, and a body that clears out what it no longer needs.
Purpose, faith, and connection.
A reason to keep going that is bigger than any number on a scale.
A twelve-week group coaching program for adults 50+ who are finished with diets and ready for something that lasts. You will not walk it alone.
Weeks 1–4
Steady your blood sugar, calm inflammation, and get sleep and digestion working for you again. We start simple, and we start exactly where you are.
Weeks 5–8
Add strength and movement your body can actually recover from, and teach it to use food as fuel again rather than store it away.
Weeks 9–12
Turn what you have built into habits that hold on their own — without a program, without a plan, and without me.
An honest word about what this is
There is no overnight transformation here. No miracle cure, no extreme diet, no fourteen-day fix. What you build is a strong foundation, made of simple daily habits, at a pace your body can keep. That is slower than most of what you have been promised before. It is also the only thing that tends to still be working a year later.
At a glance
I am a Certified Holistic Nutrition Practitioner, and you can work with me privately on nutrition alone, separate from the group program. Because sessions happen over video, you do not need to be anywhere near Phoenix for this.
This is not a meal plan handed to you with a good-luck. It is personalized nutrition guidance and nutrition education built around your life, your kitchen, and your health history — and it is built to work alongside your physician, never in place of one.
Which door is yours? The Reset™ is the full twelve-week path, with a group walking it beside you. One-on-one coaching is for people who want individual focus. Both are real doors. Take the one that fits your life right now.
One session
Ninety minutes to look at the whole picture: your daily habits and what you actually want, your current eating routine, the supplements you are taking, and your bloodwork if you have it. If a gentle jumpstart would help, we plan that too.
Afterwards you receive
If you want to come back afterwards, you can book a follow-up whenever it suits you.
Three months
Everything in the single session, with the time to actually see it through — and to change course as your body responds.
Over the three months
Choose this one if you have tried doing it alone and what you really needed was someone checking in.
Most people arrive with several things that have been building for years, not one tidy problem. These are the ones I see most often.
Hormones and menopause
Hot flashes, broken sleep, mood that swings without warning, and weight that settled in around the middle and never left.
Digestion
Bloating, constipation, acid reflux, and the gallbladder trouble that so often travels alongside them.
Blood sugar
Energy that spikes and crashes, cravings that feel non-negotiable, and numbers your doctor has started keeping an eye on.
Inflammation
Joint pain and stiffness, worries about bone strength, brain fog, and the kind of fatigue that a full night's sleep does not touch.
Many of the people I work with already have a diagnosis and a doctor — type 2 diabetes, arthritis and osteoporosis among them. I do not treat any of it, and I am not a replacement for the person who does. My part is the nutrition and the daily habits around it, working in step with your physician rather than around them.
Phoenix, Arizona area only
Local servicesEverything above works from anywhere. These two do not — some things are simply better done in the same room. If you are near Phoenix, I offer both.
In person · about 30 minutes
One-on-one sessions using the H-Wave OTC device. It is an electrical stimulation unit — but not the harsh, buzzing kind you may have tried before. It produces a gentle, comfortable muscle contraction that most people find genuinely relaxing.
What the relief actually feels like. Most people notice the pain easing during the session itself, not hours later. And it does not stop at the door — clients regularly tell me the quiet is still with them long after the appointment, which is often what lets them sleep through the night, walk without bracing, and get on with the day.
The formal wording is narrower than what people describe to me. The device is cleared for the temporary relief of pain in sore and aching muscles of the back, neck, shoulders, arms and legs from ordinary strain, and for temporarily increasing local blood circulation in healthy muscles. What my own clients have said about it is further down this page, in their words rather than mine.
Why I offer it: pain is the number one reason my clients stop moving. And once the moving stops, everything else gets harder — sleep, mood, weight, independence. Taking the edge off is often what makes the rest possible again.
Please check with your physician before your first session. If you have a pacemaker or another implanted device, speak with your doctor before using it. This is not a medical treatment and does not replace care from your physician.
In person · your home or a gym
I am a Certified Personal Trainer, and this is strength and mobility work built for bodies in the second half of life. It is the Move pillar, put into practice.
This is not a bootcamp. There is no gym full of twenty-year-olds, and there is no one shouting at you. We work on getting stronger safely, staying steady on your feet, keeping up with your grandchildren, and staying in your own home on your own terms.
We can train in your living room, or at a gym — whichever you are more comfortable with. If walking into a gym is the part you have been dreading, we start in your living room, and we never have to go anywhere else.
Wherever your fitness is today is the right place to begin. We meet your body where it actually is, not where a program says it should be.
For the first time in years, I have no more knee pain. I got through a whole day and workout without that deep ache — I honestly feel like myself again.
Sally H., age 84
After my sessions I feel so much lighter. The swelling in my legs went down and I'm not carrying that heavy, puffy feeling around anymore.
Judith W., age 89
You are a miracle worker! This is the first time in months that I can look at my watch without any shoulder pain.
Susan E., age 53
These are individual experiences, described by each client in her own words. They are not typical results, and they are not a description of what the H-Wave device is cleared to do. The device is cleared for the temporary relief of pain in sore and aching muscles from ordinary strain, and for temporarily increasing local blood circulation in healthy muscles. Please talk with your physician about your own situation.
Two ways to begin on your own, today, before you decide anything else.
Free guide
A short, practical guide to five everyday foods that help calm inflammation — and simple ways to actually get them onto your plate this week. No shopping list of things you have never heard of.
Self-guided program
A month-long reset you work through at your own pace, on your own schedule. Daily structure, no live calls, and you can begin whenever you are ready.
Most of the people I work with are in the second half of life. Here is what a few of them say.
Brittany is by far one of the best nutritionists I have ever worked with. She really listened to my needs, goals and lifestyle and helped me make everlasting changes to my diet and my relationship with food. I also had some digestive issues that were not getting cleared up, and within two months of working together I felt much better. My bloating was gone and my energy was back.
Ilene S., age 55
Working with Brittany was great for me. I really enjoyed the personalized nutrition program she offers and the passion she puts behind her work. She has totally changed the way I look at health, wellness and fitness. I am really thankful for the extra time she took with me and her expertise.
Shereena S., age 50
Brittany is absolutely wonderful. She is so much more than a personal trainer and holistic nutritionist; she is a true blessing in my life. I have lost twenty pounds and kept that weight off for several months, and it would not have been possible without this amazing woman. She is so supportive and encouraging, and someone who instantly uplifts anyone she meets.
Michele S., age 30
These are individual experiences shared by real clients. Results differ from person to person, and nothing here is a promise of what you will experience.
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
3 John 1:2
Your body is not a project to be fixed. It is a gift you have been asked to care for, and caring for it well is its own quiet form of gratitude.
That belief shapes how I coach — gently, patiently, and with the understanding that you are a whole person and not a set of numbers. You are welcome here whatever you believe. Faith is part of my story; it is never a requirement of yours.
If yours is not here, ask me directly further down the page. I answer these myself.
Because most of what you tried was designed for a thirty-five-year-old body, and yours has changed since then. Points, carbs, fasting — they all ask the same thing of you: eat less and push harder. After fifty, that often makes things worse rather than better.
We look at why your body is holding on in the first place — inflammation, blood sugar, sleep, stress, digestion — instead of simply cutting more away. It is a different question, so you get a different answer.
No. Your body is still building muscle, still repairing itself, and still responding to what you give it. None of that switches off at sixty or seventy — it simply gets slower and asks for better inputs. I have watched people in their seventies become stronger than they were at fifty. Later is not the same thing as too late.
Good news: willpower is not the ingredient. If a plan needs you to grit your teeth through it, the plan is wrong.
We start small enough that it does not take willpower, then build from there. Most of the people I work with do not need more discipline. They have had plenty. They need a plan that stops fighting their body.
Almost certainly not. It is usually adapted rather than broken. Years of eating less, sleeping poorly, carrying stress, and losing muscle teach a body to run on less. The encouraging part is that adaptation runs both directions: feed it properly, rest it, and build some strength, and it responds. That is exactly what weeks five through eight of the Reset™ are for.
No. You can do all of it in your living room with a sturdy chair and your own body weight. If you enjoy the gym, wonderful — we will use it. And if the thought of walking into one makes you want to close this page, we will never set foot in one.
Less than you would think. Plan on twenty to thirty minutes of movement most days, one weekly group call you can watch later if you miss it, and some time in the kitchen — mostly cooking food you were going to cook anyway, prepared a little differently. This has to fit inside a real life, or it will not last.
Not at all. Faith is part of my story and it shapes how I care for people — gently, and with the belief that you matter. But there is no requirement here, no pressure, and no test. Everyone is genuinely welcome, and you will never be asked to pray, to believe, or to explain yourself.
